This is a fairly compact two level pond which has undergone many changes since it was first installed in 1996. The owner and her daughter dug the hole and installed the lining. After the hole was dug and liner installed, the owner did everything including hauling all the stone and blocks! This year she grudgingly conceded to age and had a professional install a larger waterfall "as I love to hear a loud splash from the house!", says the owner.
The lower pond is basically egg shaped, approx. 8' x 5' with 3 different depths. The main pump is a Laguna MaxFlo 2400 gph. The smaller one for the fountain is a Little Giant. There are no fish, but a large frog and lots of plants, also some underwater lighting. The surrounding area has been re-landscaped this year. There is also an above ground pond at the back of the house. You will see a lot of fairies scattered around in the fairy garden at the rear of the pond.
