Pond #1
9919 Colorado Street Crown Point, IN
Our original water feature was built in 2000 and consisted of two waterfalls cascading down a landscaping berm into a 2’ deep, 11x16’ pond. In 2007 we spruced up the existing streams by adding large boulders and added an additional 50’ stream. The new stream winds down; through a professionally landscaped patio that includes a fire pit and a 10’x10’ pergola. Our 2010 improvements include widening and deepening the pond. It is now 4’ deep and 20’x20’. We added a 3000gal/hr pump with running jets towards the bottom of the pond for aeration and water movement. We also removed our two mechanical skimmers and replaced them with an infinity edge skimmer. We added a wetland filtration system with a 12’ stream that leads to the newly remodeled pond. The landscaping, patio, streams and pond are all designed and built by South County Landscaping.
