Pond #10

9157 Foliage LaneMunster, IN

Welcome to “The Jungle.”  You arrive to a drive which features a Tiger Eye sumac.  The fountain feature out front is a three column basalt bubbler.  You will journey round the side path to enter the lush foliage, sitting areas, and multiple water features of turf-less gardens which feature six sitting areas, each highlighted by a sparkling, splashing water feature.  The Faucet Fountain is on the deck, the Battling Frogs in a Barrel are featured on the patio.  We follow the path to the arbor with two hammock swings to view the Blue Bubbler which attracts the goldfinches.  Then we follow the path to Steve’s Lutyens bench to relax next to the Fish Rock at the culmination of the twenty foot stream which begins with a frog-spitter.  We meander to Barb’s Swing which is under a locust tree viewing a hummingbird station.  Next to the swing a work station with potting bench, patio, and Fish and Frog two-level fountain are featured under the locust.  We complete the path past a window box with a rock bubbler.  The property is located on Hart Ditch so the backdrop of the landscape is very wild and woodsy.  There are stories to be told about the evolution of “The Jungle.”
