Project:

Eagle Park Community School Pond

In 2006 Illiana Garden Pond Society members built a mobile pond first at the 2006 Waterscape Weekend Expo and then finally at the Eagle Park Community School in Crown Point, Indiana. This pond was built for the children of the school to be used as a way to teach them about caring for an ecosystem, which includes plants as well as fish. The pond will also be used as a science project for years to come. The photos below show the progression of the construction, setup first at the Expo and finally at the school.
